Tamara

Tam is a yoga & meditation teacher, ceremonialist and sound practitioner whose sessions are rooted in ancient healing techniques. She’s also one of the co-founders at St. Leonards-on-Sea based yoga, meditation & healing centre: Madre.
Tam’s wellbeing journey started whilst at first “secretly” meditating to help manage a stressful career. Whilst juggling a demanding job she has learned impeccable skill from mentors and masters of many practices and lineages. She now dedicates her life fully to help others find balance and a sense of peace, teaching from a deep place of intuition and knowing, which keeps evolving and growing.
Over the past 7 years she’s trained in Dynamic Vinyasa, Naad Yoga (Sound & Gong), Cacao Ceremony, Transformational Breathwork (foundation) and a 2-year intensive course in Mindfulness Meditation with world-renown teachers and clinical Psychologists Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Tam’s practices are a dynamic blend to navigate emotional landscapes, as a profound commitment to the art of self-inquiry. In her sessions she interweaves movement, sacred sounds, silence and ancient wisdom into “whole being experiences”.
